Quick tasting at the winery. I didn't take notes, hence only my indicative impression without a rating.
Lemon colour with green reflexes. The bouquet of the Rauenthal appears cooler than the Rüdesheim Riesling. More stony by comparison. Again bright fruits, though slightly less exotic and less ripe. More in the direction of pear. In the mouth, light-bodied, but linear and monolithic with grip and a good acidity. Fresh citrus, some herbs. Salty finish. I like this one. Still young and should develop well over the years. Provisional points 9-11.
Drink from 2025 through 2035.
