Delicate salmon pink to light pink colour, fine mousse. Initially some orange and peach on the nose, then wild berries, tending towards blueberry, sliced red apple. Also very slightly oxidative and developed with a darker, earthy undertone. A spicy, toasted impression, although no oak is used in the élevage. Dry on the palate with a medium body and medium to high acidity. The perlage is creamy. Again small berries and blueberries on the palate. Accompanied by dark cherry. With a slight grip and tannin. Subtly yeasty, crumbly and bitter on the long finish with lingering notes of cherry and cassis. This is an elegant rosé, dry, not loud or showy and not too fruity in style. As a result, it does not develop an "unstoppable" drinking flow. However, it is an attractive style for lovers of brut rosé champagnes.
Drink through 2024.
