Happy fourth advent!
Medium purple colour with watery edges and thick reddish tears indicating extraction. The nose features medium intensity of purple and dark fruits, including prune, raspberry, and ripe strawberry, along with malty sweetness and leathery notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied with soft, drying tannins. The acidity is subtle, but adds a refreshing element to the wine. Flavours of redcurrant, cowberry, red cherry, and juicy plum emerge. The finish is leathery with a drying, slightly green note, possibly blackcurrant leaves. While the Tempranillo and Merlot blend may not be perfect, it remains a good full-bodied wine for the price.
Drink through 2028.
