A cuvée of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. From the Navarra region, which borders directly on Rioja and is located to the northeast.
The colour is a deep ruby red with a brick red rim. The nose is spicy and somewhat smoky, with dark berries, sweet vanilla and mint. Blackcurrants on the palate. In addition, an opulent sweetness, but also notes of iron and pepper. The tannins are well integrated and relatively soft in the 2016 at this point.
Overall, an accessible wine and food companion at a budget-friendly price.
Drink through 2025.
