Pale lemon yellow. Clean bouquet, immediately fruity: Passion fruit, mango, lychee, peach, lime. Ticks all the boxes of its grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Pinot Blanc. Unfortunately, the wine is less seductive on the palate. The fruitiness and acidity do not quite go hand in hand for my taste. I’m even inclined to say the acidity isn’t integrated well, standing out awkwardly as a result.
Drink through 2024.

2Wines with a DM1 to DM2 rating are subpar on a fine wine level. That means they have no technical flaws. However, they are typically one-dimensional, short in taste, or lack balance. Insofar, there might be something that I didn't like while tasting, such as a below-average tanning structure or an acidity that wasn't integrated very well. / 20 ("subpar") |
