Lemon yellow colour with a very faint salmon tint. Toast, sparse fruit, very subtle wild berry flavour. Very elegant and clear. Dry flavour with a fine perlage and animating acidity. Lemon, grapefruit, green apple. Overall, not too fruity here either, although the wine becomes a little sweeter and fruitier with more air and temperature. The finish is of medium length. I really like this sparkling wine from the Rheingau, produced using traditional bottle fermentation. Refreshing, clear, with a great pull. A success!
