Established in 1843 in Bad Dürkheim, Weingut Karl Schaefer has been a member of the VDP for more than 100 years. The 18-hectare estate focuses predominantly on Riesling (85%), alongside Pinot varieties. Certified organic since 2008; has used the VDP four-tier system since 2012. Prestigious vineyards include the Michelsberg and Fuchsmantel.
