A Gamay from old vines of several sites in Beaujolais. Served at about 15 degrees Celsius. Red colour with violet reflections. Initially, silky red fruits on the nose with strawberry cream candy. After a short time, cherry and a floral note mix in. In the mouth a slender body, yet dry and astringent. Again, clearly red fruits, coupled with a lively acidity. This is a really well-crafted Gamay that shows that Beaujolais can be a lot of fun! A feel-good wine for me. To be enjoyed from now over the next three years.
Drink through 2025.
