Tasting note

Pale ruby with a slightly watery rim and visible brick-red reflections. The nose is inviting and elegant, though notably restrained (especially on the second day), offering delicate red fruit—cherry, plum, and redcurrant—alongside a hint of juniper and discreet, smoky oak influence. On the palate, the tannins are supple but somewhat drying, underpinned by a cool-toned structure and fresh acidity. The red-fruit character remains with wild berries, cherry, and rosehip, but is understated, showing modest depth. While the finish is of medium length and herbaceous, the wine appears a little evolved, suggesting it is best enjoyed soon. It is a sophisticated, well-balanced effort that just lacks the concentration required to achieve a 'Very Good' rating.
