Spontaneous fermentation in glazed concrete vats; more than 20 days on the skins. Maturation for 18 months in French oak (barriques and tonneaux), approx. 1/3 new. Slightly more "finesse" in style.

Val d'Arno di Sopra DOC Tuscany’s Val d'Arno di Sopra DOC (est. 2011) encompasses the Pietraviva and Pratomagno subzones. Bianco blends utilise 40–80% Chardonnay; Rosso/Rosato require 40–80% Merlot. Varietal wines necessitate at least 85% of the declared cultivar. Site-specific wines may use the Vigna designation. Key cultivars include Sangiovese, Cabernet, and Malvasia Bianca Lunga. Production includes dry, sparkling, late-harvest, and Passito styles. |
